New Business Assistant

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable New Business Assistant to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting our Sales and Client Services Departments. The New Business Assistant will handle the accurate input of client and account data into our system and provide assistance to clients as needed.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced office environment, possess strong phone and computer skills, and demonstrate the ability to handle confidential information appropriately. Hours are Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Salary Range

$13.50 - $15.00/hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Sales and Client Services teams with new business intake.
  • Accurately input relevant data into our system
  • Provide client assistance as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience with phones, computers, and typing preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage and process confidential information appropriately.
  • Must be dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.

Technology Skills

  • Basic computer proficiency is required.
  • Experience with phone systems and data entry is helpful.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Employee works in a temperature controlled office environment. Incumbent sits at a desk during regularly scheduled work hours; makes telephone calls using a standard telephone; types on a standard keyboard; reads and comprehends information from a computer terminal and/or written resources.
