Customer Service Representative - Kearney

**Job Summary:**
The Customer Service Representative - Kearney is responsible for contacting consumers, gathering information needed on their accounts, and setting up payment arrangements. The role requires exemplary customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate with consumers over the telephone. The Customer Service Representative will utilize scripted openings when contacting consumers, suggest payment sources for unpaid account balances, update customer records, and perform other assigned duties. This role is based in our Kearney location and works Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

**Salary Range:**
Up to $18 per hour, based on experience.

**Qualifications:**
To be successful in this role, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following qualifications are required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Experience in a call center environment desired
- Experience in an office environment preferred

**Responsibilities:**
The Customer Service Representative - Kearney will have the following responsibilities:
- Utilize exemplary customer service skills on the telephone.
- Utilize scripted openings when contacting the right party, including identifying the consumer, identifying the company, and asking for payment on the account.
- Suggest money sources for payment of unpaid account balances.
- Update the customer record with new information, record call results or disposition, and take relevant notes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Communication/Teamwork Skills:**
The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

**Technology Skills:**
Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and phone experience, is preferred.

**Work Environment:**
The Customer Service Representative will work in a temperature-controlled office environment, sitting at a desk during regular work hours. The role will involve making telephone calls, typing on a standard keyboard, and reading and comprehending information from a computer terminal and/or written resources.
